Chris Shields

Varsity Head Coach

Chris Shields has been coaching volleyball since 2016 at the 9th, JV, Varsity, and Club levels. He was the head coach of Hiram High School and Wheeler High School before having children and stepping back to coach 9th grade at Woodstock High School, assist the varsity team at Harrison High School, and assist JV at Pope High School. His philosophy is one of self-betterment, where players compete with themselves to become better each day, where fun and competition are the primary drives of the team, and where the team transcends the individual. He is excited to be heading the Sprayberry program and looks forward to years of high-level volleyball.

Hi! I’m Coach Smith and this is my second year coaching volleyball at Sprayberry. I played volleyball in high school and coached one year previously at a private middle school. I have a sweet 5 year old boy named Henry. I’m so excited to be part of this program with these amazing athletes and I can’t wait to get the season started! See ya at the net!

Hello!

I am Coach Kat Maciejewski (or just Coach Kat). I have coached a variety of teams and levels including middle school, club, and recreational volleyball. I want to make sure the girls enjoy the sport they play while also learning how to work through tough situations as a team...and soon to be family. Over time, my philosophy has become that we are all athletes, meaning we can play anytime, anyplace, and anywhere on the court. I hope to see my players have an arsenal of volleyball skills to employ and to be adaptable to unexpected situations on the court.

My name is Kristina Shannon, and I am from Orlando Fl, bringing forth several years of playing and coaching experience both at the club and collegiate levels. After attending Clark Atlanta University, I moved back to Orlando and started my coaching career, working with a variety of age groups ranging from 10 to 18 years old, both boys and girls.  In 2010, I led my Lake Brantley High School varsity girls team to state champions. I am currently in my second year with the program and looking forward to a great season!
